But I'm not ready to see you yet!

Guh.
I hate being a single girl sometimes. Although it's fun, sometimes it's frustrating.
A guy asked me out tonight to watch a friend's gig. But I can't come because obviously I'm not ready.
It's 7 in the evening and he can't expect me to be freaking ready in an hour. He just can't.
Be considerate man. I'm not that type of girl who you could just be like, "Hey let's go out!" (at night when it's already night) and says, "Sure! I'll be ready in a bit!" NO. No.
That's just not possible.
I know. Why can't I be THAT girl? Oo nga naman diba? Bakit ba hindi ako ganon?
I can be. Pero if I'm going out for tea or coffee with Reg, or my cousin, or the lezzies, that would be fine. But with this guy? No.
I think I need a whole freaking week to plan out what I'm going to wear. Then he'll show up with just shirt and jeans (Yeah I know. Guys. Right?). Pero that's fine, I'm actually into those type as well.
So anyway, as I was saying, if it's a guy I'm going out with, siguro the latest time you can inform me that you want to go out is morning of the day itself. Be realistic naman kase, all these (refers to tarted up self) doesn't happen in 5 minutes. I'm a freaking girl. A girly girl.
What the freak? Why am I overthinking this??
To sum up, he asked me out, I wasn't ready, I said no. You can't invite me to go out at night when it's already night and expect me to be ready, to be ready and tarted up, to be ready with my confidence to flirt with you and your friends, to be ready with a cute outfit and thoroughly moisturized. Well at least not with you, your kind. I have to very cute so you'll ask me out again and actually be excited about it :) And that takes preparation. But you don't know that. Because you're a guy. An older one. And you probably hang out with low-maintenance girls who wakes up in the morning with pretty hair and everything.
